LOCATION: Hol Chan’s villa resort is located on the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize. It is 3.5 miles south of San Pedro Town. San Pedro is an enjoyable and easy 20-minute golf cart ride away. Nearby you will find the conveniences of a well-stocked grocery store, 4 beach bars, 5 restaurants and a tour operator. All are within 1.5 miles from the resort. All other dive and tour operators pick you up on our 300 foot dock.
YOU HAVE TWO TYPES OF VILLA ACCOMODATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM: At Hol Chan, you have two lodging options based on which building your rental is located. Our vacation rentals are located in two buildings (Villas and Resorts). Each building has a different floor plan and rental rate. The entire resort is comprised of 16 villas. Only 8 villas are in the rental pool. Three are in the Villas Building and the remaining five are in the Resorts Building.
The Villas Building (Above Right) was built in 2014. The Villas are 2400 square feet. Each has has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The Villas are highly rated because of their spectacular, floor-to-ceiling window walls that can be fully folded away. When the window walls are folded away, your villa is completely open, allowing the tropical breezes to flow freely throughout the unit. The Villas building also has an elevator and access to over 12,000 square feet of rooftop decking with delightful entertainment areas (wet bar, grill, benches). From the rooftop, you will experience breathtaking 360 degree views of the ENTIRE ISLAND. One of the few places on the island where you an watch the sun both rise and set.
The Resorts Building (Above left) was built in 2009. The Resorts are 1800 square feet with three sets of french doors. Two of the french doors open up to the balcony overlooking the ocean (family room and master suite). The 3rd set of french doors open up to the side of the building (via master) allowing you to let the ocean breeze to flow freely throughout the villa. The Resorts building also has access to an elevator and over 12,000 square feet of rooftop decking with delightful entertainment areas (wet bar, grill, benches). From the rooftop, you will experience breathtaking 360 degree views of the ENTIRE ISLAND. One of the few places on the island you an watch the sun both rise and set.
ABOUT BELIZE: Belize is located off the tip of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Ambergris Caye is located 30 miles from Belize City and is the largest, most popular island in Belize. The island of Ambergris Caye is only 27 miles long and is protected by a 190 mile Barrier Reef, the second longest living coral reef barrier in the world! CNN Travel recently featured an article boasting Ambergris Caye being as the “World’s No. Island” two years in a row by the travel review site TripAdvisor. Belize prized by many vacationers as an easy destination where the official language is English, a passport is required, the exchange rate is simple ($2 BZ = $1 U.S. dollar) and where the U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere.

AMENITIES: Each vacation rental villa is privately owned and individually decorated. All our vacation rentals feature marble floors, custom mahogany woodwork/cabinetry, granite countertops, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, stainless steel appliances, laundry rooms (washer/dryer), travertine tiled showers, top of the line plumbing fixtures/showerheads, satellite TV, complimentary internet and house phone (purchased calling card required). Upon arrival, our concierge will greet you with starter toiletry supply packs, a fruit basket and a complimentary jug of purified water. All linens and beach towels are provided. Daily maid service is not included, but can be arranged for an additional fee with our island concierge.
Other Amenities include 300 foot dock with thatched palapa and swim platform, 400 feet of manicured beachfront, two large pools, community grills/bbq, cushioned pool-side chaise loungers, cushioned beach-side chaise loungers, thatched beach umbrellas, 12,000 square feet of rooftop entertainment area, complimentary use of kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment.

MANAGEMENT COMPANY & VISA/MC STATEMENT VENDOR NAME: BLUE CARIBBEAN MANAGEMENT COMPANY is Hol Chan's contracted Management company. Blue Caribbean Managment is responsible for all managing and claiming all of the resorts BTB rentals under a single BTB rental License. The Resort’s "Vendor Name" that will appear on your Credit card statement will read "BLUE CARIBBEAN MANAGEMENT”.
Please recognize and remember the vendor name when your credit card statement arrives.
DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is now due with the balance due 45 days prior to check-in. Rentals between December 18 and January 3 are required to have the balance due 60 days prior to check-in.
RATES & POLICY: The property is furnished and includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens, bath towels and beach towels. Children under 16 stay free. Only registered renters and guests may stay on the property and must not exceed the stated condo's maximum number of guests. There is an additional charge of $35 per additional person per night during peak and high season. There is no charge for additional persons during low season. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 3 night minimum stay January 4 to December 18 and a 6 night minimum stay December 15 to January 2.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows: 100 % less $100 processing fee if cancelled 91+ days prior to the Check-in Date...75% refund if cancelled 60-90 days prior to the Check-in Date ...50% refund if cancelled 46-60 days prior to the Check-in Date. No refund if cancelled 45 days or less prior to Check-in Date. . Again, only registered renters and guests may stay on the property and must not exceed the stated condo's maximum number of guests.
RENTAL RULES: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property.
Smoking is allowed outside only.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
All of the units are privately owned; the owners and rental agents are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
Only use appliances for their intended uses.
Pets are NOT allowed. OR PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed.
HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service, but we would be happy to arrange it for an additional fee upon check-in. The unit has a washer and dryer. All linens and bath towels are included in the unit.
